John was told that people race lawnmowers and when his son Brandon wanted to race, he laughed. They took a trip to a national lawnmower race in Superior, Wisconsin which was a cancer race. John got too see first hand on how big lawn mower racing really is in Wisconsin. People from many states came to race. Needless to say, he was hooked.  John works as a treatment plant operator, and is the president of the Wisconsin Lawn Mower Racing Association.
